| Customer Reviews: SX guitars April 26, 2010 Mark G. Casterline (USA) SX guitars have to be the best value in a budget instrument available. I recently bought a used SX precision bass copy for $49 including a nice gig bag. I cannot get over the quality of these guitars for the price. Sure they have minor fret issues but they are very playable. I would definitely take this bass to a gig. It stays in tune and plays great. Thank you SX.
Best Low Cost Bass on the Market April 5, 2010 Todd Vaules (Columbia, SC United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Classic p-bass sound at a budget price. For the money you get a VERY playable and well fitted instrument. The big secret here is these basses a really popular with pro players. You get a very decent instrument that you aren't afraid to gig with. It is gets beat up or stolen, you aren't out a pile of cash.
This is also a good start for a project bass. Many owners upgrade every bit of hardware and electronics, ending up with a very high quality boutique style bass.
Once in a great while a bass will pass through the system that isn't quite up to par. Don't worry though, customer service is fantastic and they will make any issues right.
I own two Fenders and two Schecters, all four basses are brilliant. But, my go to basses are my three SX models. I play them at least twice as much as my expensive brand axes.
Don't hesistate, buy this bass now!
